EDCI541 Applied Indigenous Knowledge - Winter
This course is the third installment in a four-part series that explores Indigenous perspectives to support educators’ integration of Indigenous knowledge. Students will take part in inquiry- and place-based explorations guided by the seasonal rounds of the Séliš, Ql̓ispé, and Ksanka people. Students will also reflect on and share how they work to integrate appropriate Indigenous knowledge into the educational activities they create for their context explicitly. The course will focus on seasonal activities most appropriately conducted within the winter months.
