Graduate Studies
Salish Kootenai College established graduate education in Spring, 2020, in order to meet the demands for researchers and practitioners with advanced knowledge and competencies. The College's first graduate degree was created in 2020 with the founding of the Master of Science in Natural Resource Management. The second graduate degree was established during Winter, 2022 as the Master of Education in Curriculum & Instruction. Both Master's Degrees are included in the College's accreditation by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities.
The College's Master's Degree Programs provide culturally relevant programming aimed at individuals who have completed their baccalaureate degree and have work experience in their respective fields of study. Both graduate degrees are a combination of on-line, face-to-face instruction, and may also require weekend intensives.
