MAST102 Healthcare Communications with Medical Legal and Ethical Considerations

This course is designed to introduce methods of communication with clients, client support groups, healthcare professionals, and external agencies. The focus of this course is on written, oral, and interpersonal communications. Students will demonstrate appropriate responses to a variety of communication patterns across the life span. Student are further introduced to the legal and ethical challenges faced in the practice of health care. Students earn a certification in HIPAA.
