AUTO120 Manual Drive Trains and Axles

Introduces manual transmissions/transaxles, the study of power flow and diagnosis of manual transmission systems. Includes proper repair procedures, component identification and service procedures performed on vehicles and components. The course is structured around a standardized task sheet from the Automotive Service Excellence (ASE). Students will develop the skills, knowledge and attitudes necessary to perform, repairs on import and domestic cars and light trucks. Includes relevant science and communication content.
