EDCI509 Integrated Perspectives in Mixed Method Action Research

Integrated Perspectives in Mixed Methods Action Research develops a foundation of research, assessment, and applied statistics literacy to support candidates' own design of cycles of action and inquiry in their setting. Mixed method research, including indigenous, qualitative, and quantitative method integration, will be emphasized across the entire 14-month Masters Program. This course is intended to jump start a comparative understanding of multiple research methods and how they may intersect in practical application. Formal and informal research designs and methods will be covered with an emphasis on action research to benefit Tribal communities. The ability to interpret, analyze, and evaluate research by others will also be explored and practiced in this comparative course.
