NURS469R Senior Capstone I

In this clinical course, the student will plan and implement a Quality Improvement project based on the FOCUS-PECA methodology. This course is designed for the experienced registered nurse. The nurse will draw on their work experience to develop their projects. The nurse will conduct a needs assessment, identify a specific area of improvement, collect data to inform the project development, and design the project implementation with a preceptor. Students will be encouraged to design projects to better their workplace.
