NURS444 Health Promotion, Health Protection, and Disease Prevention

This course focuses on the promotion of healthy lifestyles, behaviors to protect health, and disease prevention. The role of the family, culture, human development, and genetics are integral to the study of health promotion, health protection, and disease prevention. Risk factors are explored, using epidemiological sources and individual, family, and group assessments, to determine evidence-based nursing interventions.
