NURS371 Medical Surgical Nursing III

Medical Surgical Nursing III builds upon the content of Medical Surgical Nursing II. Disease processes of body systems are presented with an emphasis on health promotion. Students will utilize the nursing process in developing evidence-based, culturally congruent patient care. Students will continue to gain hands-on experience and use the nursing process in a variety of clinical and simulated settings. Students will focus on the care of patients with alterations in health requiring acute care.
