NURS351 Medical Surgical Nursing II

Medical Surgical Nursing II builds upon the content of Medical/Surgical I. Disease processes of body systems are presented with an emphasis on health promotion. Students will utilize the nursing process in developing evidence-based, culturally congruent plans of care. Students will continue to gain hands-on experience and use the nursing process in a variety of clinical and simulated settings. Students will focus on the care of patients with alterations in health requiring acute care.
