MAST150 Anatomy and Physiology for the Medical Assistant
Anatomy and Physiology for the Medical Assistant teaches students about the structures and functions of the human body. Topics include organization of the human body, body systems, homeostasis, nutrition, disease, disease etiology, risk factors, signs/symptoms, diagnosis, treatment, prognosis, and prevention. Students will also explore and discuss HIV, AIDS, and HCV epidemics and will earn a nationally recognized certificate in HIV/AIDS Awareness.
