NSGD449 Pain Management for Nurses
Pain management is a complex, multi-faceted endeavor. This course focuses on the best practice management of acute and chronic, non-cancer pain. Cultural aspects of pain management are included. Strong emphasis is placed on the assessment of pain. A component of this course includes the opioid addiction crisis in the United States and evidence-based treatment plans that may be applicable to some patients.
