NSGD 441 Global Health
Global Health focuses on exploring and developing a global perspective on healthcare. Social determinants of health including local, national, and international trends will be examined. Frameworks that emphasize the various meanings of health and healthcare between and among cultures and countries are discussed; related ethical, economic, and social justice concerns are also explored. Historical, social, political, and economic forces that impact healthcare are analyzed.
