SKC Student Senate
SKC Student Senate provides an opportunity for students to engage in student governance, leadership, and advocacy for the student body. As such, Student Senate promotes high scholastic achievement and active involvement in social and extracurricular activities for the student body. Student Senate manages the equitable distribution of student governance funds towards student clubs, activities, and initiatives that empower and engage the student body. There are multiple executive officers (president, vice president, vice president of finance, and secretary) and student representative (upperclassmen & graduate studies, housing and residence halls, student activities, and communications) positions. The Student Senate holds public meetings in an effort to improve communication, stay informed about campus life, hear from the student body, and act as a Student Affairs liaison.
