WILD471 Applied Wildlife Management
Applied Wildlife Management explores practical solutions to common and emerging challenges in wildlife biology, including tribal programs. We will consider the influence of human values and perceptions in wildlife decision-making. Students will gain an understanding of the roles of laws, policies, oral histories, ecological knowledge, scientific research, baseline inventories and monitoring in wildlife management and conservation.
