OFED140 Employment Law

Employment Law introduces the fundamental concepts, terminology and processes that a general office employee should be expected to know. Students will be exposed to several employment legal issues covering compensation and overtime, health care, protected leave laws, safety, and discrimination. In addition, students will discuss how these laws affect employees/employers on and off the Tribal Reservations. A cultural assignment will be completed.
