NATR243 Advanced Cartography and Map Visualization

Cartography is the science and art of mapmaking and maps are a very effective way to visually communicate spatial information. The course is organized around several exercises and one final project. Each project includes a presentation and discussions about concepts and the tools used in cartography and map visualization. For each of the projects, students are asked to work with peers to create critiques that, in turn, are used to revise the maps.
