NASD472 Practicum II: Completion of Application

Practicum II: Completion of Application of IRM&M is a three-credit practicum designed as the cumulative application of the learning and experiences acquired through the Certificate in IRM&M Program. The course provides a final phase of the capstone experience. More specifically, it provides opportunity to apply the various tenets of IRM&M for preparing to do, design, conduct, and present one's research accomplished as a community-based and community-guided project. When completed together, Practicum I & II satisfy the SKC Service-Learning requirement as they require at least 40 hours of service with the community and/or study partners with whom they are contributing. Additionally, 1 hour per week is spent in peer-to-peer learning and sharing with students' cohort and faculty. Student "service" entails furthering the work of formally engaging, per IRM&M tenets and protocols, their community partner(s) who will provide guidance, advice, and advocacy.
