CSCD197 Programming Project
The Programming Project course has students engage in a programming project of their own design or an ongoing project provided by the instructor. Students will get the chance to apply what they have learned from their previous programming courses to realistic situations. Project options will be place-based and help support community organizations if possible. Examples of projects include creating data visualizations, graphics, and writing data analysis scripts. Data source examples include Montana Space Grant Consortium's Nationwide Eclipse Ballooning Project, water quality data from SKC's Natural Resources Department, or atmospheric data from SKC student Summer RockOn! Projects. Projects must be designed to serve a need of the local or campus community. Students will be required to complete a minimum of 30 hours of service work on this project.
