CAPP140 Word Processing
Word Processing is a hands-on class that explores beginning, intermediate, and advanced features of a current word processing application program. Those features include character formatting, alignment, line spacing, indenting, cut/copy, headers/footers, page numbering, orientation, tabs, spellcheck, bullets/numbering, tables, and columns. Advanced techniques include advanced letter parts, mail merge, collaboration, styles, graphics, columns, and tables. In addition, students learn proper formatting of basic business documents including memos, emails, business letters, envelopes, and reports. A resume and cover letter project is also included.
