BUMG273 Introduction to Research

Introduction to Research provides students with knowledge of basic concepts in research. The course introduces students to research classifications, methodology, implementation, and analysis. Students will learn to utilize research databases and identify appropriate journal articles to assist with research. Ethics in research will be discussed; students will become familiar with informed consent, privacy, and institutional review board. Students will develop skills in research design, including reliability, validity, bias, and statistical significance.
