WILD472 Advanced Fisheries

Advanced Fisheries focuses on the interactions among fish populations, freshwater ecosystems, and people. Students will learn about the fundamental principles and historical development of fisheries ecology, conservation and management. We will explore the challenges of balancing human values in relation to fisheries resources, with special emphasis on American Indian and Alaska Native connections.
