Advanced Counseling Methods for the Native American Client provides the opportunity for students to advance their knowledge an skills to work effectively with individuals, groups and families including interviewing, assessment, treatment planning an direct counseling methods specific to meeting the needs of Native Americans. Rogerian, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Advanced Motivational Interviewing techniques and other techniques will be explored.
