HYDR470 Tribal Water Resource Management

Tribal Resource Water Management incorporates traditional ecological knowledge into the review and development of water quality standards for tribal waters. Students will evaluate tribal quality assurance action plans (QAAPs) and understand their context in the EPA water funding paradigm which is essential for contemporary tribal water management. Students will learn how to integrate water quality standards into groundwater, surface water, and wetlands to best protect tribal waters and public health.
