DIGD140 Introduction to Digital Illustration

Introduction to Digital Illustration explores digital drawing and vector-based illustration. Students will practice transferring original sketches and tracing images copied from other sources to turn them into original work. Students also learn to make t-shirts, logos, web banners, cartoons, product packaging, and other kinds of commercial works. By the end of the course, students will have a solid foundation working with Adobe Illustrator and working with tablets.
