BUMG361 Advanced Electronic Spreadsheets

Advanced Electronic Spreadsheets is a hands-on class that familiarizes students with the advanced capabilities of an electronic spreadsheet application program. Students will complete a review of basic electronic spreadsheets. Students activities include working with Trendlines, PivotTables, PivotCharts, and Slicers. Students will develop skills in formula auditing, data validation, complex problem solving, data analysis with Power Tools, and creating macros. Students will explore user interfaces, Visual Basic for Applications (BVA) and collaboration features in Excel. Students do independent projects that apply the skills learned.
