NRMG574 GIS III: Advanced Digitizing and Raster Analysis

GIS III includes geodatabase management in multi-user environments. Other topics include HTML-image-mapper extensions for ArcGIS, and advanced spatial modeling, including 3D models, advanced spatial analysis using vector and raster data.

Students enrolled for graduate credit will complete an independent project using methods covered in the course directly or indirectly related to their Master’s degree research or project topic, and submit the results in the form of a written report and class presentation for combined NATR3743/NRMG574.  Place-based research topics driven by the students’ specific research interests are commonly focused on service to indigenous communities.
