HPP Practicum II provides students with an exploration of real-world practice in the field of public health. This includes 30 practicum hours working in a community/public health organization, where the student will sign a contract agreement, set up a work schedule, and keep a journal of their activities. Additional content includes reflective activities and discussions, guest speakers, and skills practice. A goal of this course is to prepare students to perform public health work in Indigenous communities through practice and reflection.
