Introduction to Public Health covers foundational public health concepts at a population level, including health systems, policies, biological and social determinants, culture and behavior, and the unique perspectives and approaches within Indigenous health. Students explore the historical and ethical foundations of public health and the field’s evolving practices, with a particular focus on Indigenous public health.
