NATR239 Geospatial Data Management

Spacial data acquisition and manaagement is necessary and increasingly beneficial skill to have. This course will be an introduction to secondary Geographic information systems (GIS) software such as ArcOnline, Survey 123, and mobile GIS apps. Students will gain experience managing data with ArcOnline and planning mobile data collection maps and surveys through real-world examples. This course will cover organizing data layers within ArcOnline, map preparation for mobile use, learn to collect data with the Collector mobile app, and preparing basic surveys.
