The Certificate of Completion in Hospitality and Tourism Operations provides a comprehensive overview of hotel and restaurant operations, application of customer service skills, development of appropriate accounting, critical thinking, and communication skills, and an understanding of the impact of cultural perspectives on staff and guest relations.
The curriculum was designed to meet the needs of local employers, to prepare students for entry-level employment. However, the program is also designed to provide stackable certificates and allow students to earn an industry-recognized certificate.
