NLTE275 Promising Practices in Native Language Teaching Methods III
Promising Practices in Native Language Teaching Methods III is the third in a three-part series for teaching dual language learners in Native language and immersion contexts. Promising Practices in NLTM III provides an overview of best practice/research based instructional approaches and strategies in Native language contexts related to second language acquisition theory, methodology, and practicum. Discussion and analysis of past and current language acquisition strategies will be examined. Candidates will review, evaluate, modify, and implement dual language teaching methodologies that are linguistically and culturally appropriate within a classroom setting. Promising Practices in NLTM III will emphasize lesson preparation and delivery, practice/application, and review/assessment among other promising practices.
