LFSC454 Immunology

Immunology is an approved major elective course for the bachelor program in Life Sciences with a focus on immune system cells, tissues and experimental systems, lymphocyte recognition, antigens and the role of T and B cells, the humoral and cell-mediated responses and clinically oriented concepts to include vaccines, autoimmunity and immunodeficiency diseases. There is a small lab section embedded that will include some tissue culture and ELISA assays to demonstrate current immunological techniques.
