LFSC411 Medical Microbiology
Using a case study approach, Medical Microbiology considers the nature of the agents of infectious diseases; the etiology, signs, symptoms, pathogenesis, diagnosis, therapy, epidemiology and prevention of specific diseases. The major objective is to challenge students to develop a working knowledge of the various disciplines of medical microbiology including; bacteriology, mycology, parasitology, and virology as they pertain to diseases in humans.
