MAST270 Medical Assistant Externship

Medical Assistant Externship is designed to give students real world practice with their skills in a supervised setting. They are precepted with an office staff member to perform both front office and back office skills. At the end of this experience, they will be prepared for an entry-level position in a Health Care Provider's clinic. Cultural sensitivity to the Native client will also be evaluated.
