MAST240 Clinical Skills for the Medical Assistant with Lab II

This course focuses on the advanced skills of the Medical Assistant. Skills include but are not limited to: collecting and preparing specimens, preforming basic (CLIA-Waved) laboratory tests,drawing blood, preforming EKG's, removing sutures and simple dressings. These skills will be practiced in the lab setting and in supervised practice in the clinic setting.
