Emergency Notification System - Rave Alert
Upon registration, students are automatically linked to Rave Alert, Salish Kootenai College’s emergency alert system. Rave Alert provides timely information about campus emergencies, school closures, and other critical situations affecting the SKC community.. Notifications are sent via SMS text message, email and automated phone message. During a campus emergency, messages may be sent from the following short codes: 67283, 226787, 78015, 77295, 81437 or 22911. Students are encouraged to save these numbers in their phones to easily recognize official SKC alerts. Some of the mobile carriers do not support short-code messaging; in those cases, alerts will be sent from @getrave.com.
