Tutoring
Tutoring is available to all students at no charge to the student. The following are tutoring options for students:
- Writing Center (Located in the Michel Building)
The Writing Center provides support for students in communication-based projects originating from any class. T The Writing Center provides a collaborative learning environment for all members of the Salish Kootenai College community. Qualified tutors support undergraduate and graduate students, alumni, faculty, and staff working on a wide variety of academic, professional, and creative writing tasks. This includes writing, speaking, and completing scholarship applications. Students may schedulean appointment by emailing writingtutors@skc.edu or visiting in person.
- SEM Lab (Located in the Beaverhead Building)
The SEM Lab provides qualified tutors and instructors to any student that needs assistance in math and science-based projects. Students may walk in or reach out for assistance by emailing stemtutor@skc.edu.
- TRIO Student Support Services students have additional options. Contact the SSS Program for more information.
