LFSC545 Research on the Reservation

Research on the Reservation will be offered in each quarter of the first year of a student's Life Sciences Master's Degree program. Students will learn about the IRB process, the CSKT Tribal Research Review Board, tribal oversight for any collected materials on the reservation, and key ethics that are specific to research on tribal lands and for tribal people. Students will conduct a thorough literature review, presenting papers of interest that will lead to the development of a thesis project that is driven by Native American research interests by the end of their first year.
