Student Housing
Salish Kootenai College has a limited number of on-campus Family Housing units and Dormitories available for students.
The Lefthand Dormitory is intended for single adult students and consists of 42 private bedrooms arranged in Pod-style living arrangements. Pods consist of three or four private bedrooms and a shared kitchen and living area. Bathrooms are shared between two roommates.
Family Housing consists of one, two, three, and four-bedroom units with a total of 55 units. These apartments are intended for couples and students with children.
Student Housing is in high demand because it is close to campus and affordable. In order to be considered for Student Housing, students must first submit their housing application to the SKC Student Housing Department. Applications for housing are received and processed in the order they are received. The size of the unit assigned is based upon the student’s needs. Applicants are placed on a waitlist for openings.
The SKC Student Housing Department encourages any current or future students to apply as soon as possible. Submitting applications early increases the ranking on the waitlist.
