The Center for Prevention & Wellness (CPW) specializes in health promotion and direct services related to advocacy, mental health counseling, and public health services. Services are free and confidential for all SKC students, staff & faculty.
CPW offers clinical counseling to individuals and groups who are part of the SKC community. Counseling services include assistance with personal concerns, relationship issues, academic skills, and life transitions. The office also maintains an extensive referral network with counselors and other service providers in the Flathead Reservation area.
CPW is committed to contributing to a campus environment that promotes the academic success and general well-being of SKC students. Clinical counselors are available to provide a variety of educational presentations to staff, students, and community groups and to facilitate support groups and talking circles.
