PSYC375 Group Process
Group Process will help the student acquire an understanding of group dynamics and effective communication in formal group settings. Students will be introduced to skills involved in problem-solving, achieving consensus, practicing effective listening, and attending to and participating in group dynamics. Ethical issues, confidentiality and trust building will be addressed. Students will gain an awareness of the power of group process as a means of self-discovery and personal growth, and will practice the skills of dealing with the diversity of values, beliefs and experiences they encounter in group interactions.
