Professional Issues and Ethics in Native Language Education Settings provides candidates with the opportunity to explore cultural teachings and professional issues with a goal of melding traditional languages, cultures, educational strategies, practices, and lifeways with high expectations to provide an education that prepares children to live in and lead their communities in the best way possible, with and for their people. Research proves that education for Indigenous communities is best when it is defined by the community.
