NASD442 IRM&M Pre-Proposal Development
IRM&M Pre-Proposal Development will add a focus on roles and responsibilities of an indigenous researcher (positionality); introduction of ethics around working with Indigenous people, their communities, and Knowledges such as oral and recorded traditions and natural sources of information; and other important issues that face Indigenous researchers both now and in the future. The following questions are emphasized: What are Indigenous Knowledges? To whom does the research belong? Whose benefit and interests are addressed? Who is the researcher and what is their relationship to the research community? Who carries out the research? Who controls and disseminates the results?
