HLTH285 HPP Career Readiness Seminar II
HPP Career Readiness Seminar II is a course in which students will explore career opportunities in the field of health promotion and complete a health education service-learning project of 30 volunteer hours in the community. One credit of this course is earned through class activities, including written assignments, in-class activities, visiting lectures, discussions, and brief field trips. The second credit is earned through the community volunteer work on a health education project that takes place during Spring Quarter. Students will spend approximately three hours per week in a community service setting and will be required to sign a contract agreement, set up a work schedule, and keep a journal of activities at the site.
