ENGL203 Technical Writing for STEM Majors

Technical Writing for STEM Majors prepares students with specialized writing, research, and technological skills and knowledge to plan and complete a variety of technical documents, including purpose statements and proposals, as well as informational and analytical reports. Coursework will focus both on the process and final product. Emphasis will include attention to audience analysis, cultural awareness, and ethics. The course will strive to address the needs of individual disciplines – health sciences, information technology, engineering, and natural sciences. Assignments will allow students to customize according to the conventions of specific disciplines. (Communication Course)
