NATR522 Statistics and Analysis for Natural Resources Management
Statistics and Analysis for Natural Resources Management provides methods of statistical analysis and modeling for data and problems encountered in natural resources conservation, and management. Emphasis is on application of methods and interpretation of results in the context of natural resource problems. Topics include introductory to landscape-level sampling design, exploratory analyses, use of parametric versus nonparametric statistics, generalized linear models, introduction to resampling methods, model selection, and modeling goodness-of-fit. This course is offered in alternate years.
