ALLH190 Home Health Aide
The Home Health Aide training provides a minimum of 16 additional hours of training for the currently Certified Nurse Aide (CNA). The Home Health Aide course prepares students to assist people who are disabled, chronically ill, and older adults who may need assistance with everyday tasks in the client’s home. The student receives training to assist the client in performing activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, transferring, using the toilet, eating and walking as well as instrumental activities of daily living (IADL) which include grocery shopping and meal preparation, light house work, managing money, taking medications, and using the telephone.
