MATH103 Contemporary Math

Contemporary Math challenges students to explore and understand some of the most important and transformative ideas in ancient and modern mathematics, with particular emphasis on problem solving, decision-making, and cultural perspective.  Topics include number theory, infinity, geometry, dimension, probability and data analysis.  Participants will gain a new appreciation for the scope and wonder of mathematics, both as human creation and universal discovery. (Communication Course)
