BUMG432 Tax II: Volunteer Income Tax Assistance

Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) volunteers provide free Income Tax Preparation Assistance to low-income, elderly, disabled and limited English speaking people. Students will become certified as VITA tax preparers at the SKC VITA Clinic. The tax law training teaches the basic concepts of income tax law and is sufficient for preparing advanced tax returns. Students will utilize the Link and Learn Taxes e-Learning, a training program based on the VITA tax return process. This training will introduce students to the major components of the VITA return preparation process.
