ARTD160 Introduction to Ceramics Art

Introduction to Ceramic Arts will expose students to the working properties of clay, its basic tools and equipment using hand-built methods. Students also have the option of learning the proper use of the potter's wheel. They will incorporate these properties to create a variety of pottery pieces that will demonstrate their skill, and understanding and personal interpretations of the medium. (Cultural Awareness)
